MENTAL HEALTH
Global Shapers Bangalore’s Mental Health project primarily focuses on mental health awareness and removing the stigma surrounding discussions of mental wellbeing.
It has conducted various awareness campaigns in the past including a cross-hub collaboration for a series of videos documenting mental health faced by everyday people and a campaign to spread mental health awareness through letters of joy.
The initiative has reached almost 10,000 individuals through these campaigns. Upcoming events include Friendship Bench Shapers training, LonePack Letters, a Mental Health Survey, Mental Health workshops, and other themed events.
CLAIMING THE FUTURE IN FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
This project will aim to create a support system
through a thematic campaign which mobilizes Shapers from around the world to undertake hub projects tackling the various barriers women and other marginalized gender groups by leveraging the experiences of various stakeholders such as Global Shaper Hubs, civil society organisations, corporates, and government agencies, who will be
involved in the project.
Overall, the project hopes to effectively facilitate the transition of 20,000+ women and other gender minorities into the future of work and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This project is a cross-hub collaboration with Frankfurt, Hyderabad, Karachi, Mumbai, Singapore, Thane, and Zurich Hubs
